Dave Perry
Talented self employed portrait artist and artist , scenic artist
went onto setting up the family business , design and build pantomimes at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, Central TV Spitting Image , Tv & Drama shows around the UK , scenic art for the RSC , Cadburys, Sea Life Centres
Terry Lee one of the founding directors of Light and Sound Design ( the premier touring lighting company in the 80’s and 90s becoming part of PRG )along with Martin Nicolas Lighting designer set designer , visited Dave Perry in his workshop to see if he would like to build a set for Black Sabbath Stonehenge stage set in the early 80’s. (25 years later we did the smaller 8 feet Stonehenge for Spinal Taps shows at Wembley )
Dave working with Light & Sound Design meant we did a lot of scenery and scenic art for many bands, and exporting a large amount to the USA. Dave quickly got a reputation for being innovative and intelligent solution quality and dedication.
Dave self taught CAD in the mid 90s after having a heart by pass. He visualise in 3D the nd we built the set for OASIS Be Here Now Tour , M People , Light House Family,
Dave gave a valuable input into projects , until 2006/2007
He passed away Dec 2010.

Helped Dad since being at school, hung out at his workshops / studio started working for Dad full time early 90s supporting the family business looking after events , over seeing scenic installations @ attractions in the Uk & Europe art directed , looking after creative teams and set builders
First full tour set looked after was Kylie On A Night Like This Tour and Jameroqui Tour

I try very hard over the years to continue the example given by my Dad , passion, energy commitment and quality a high standard to each project , to carry on with the legacy in his name. To learn the latest and new ways and My Mum was very a major part of the business the many examples by both , such as integrity in business , looking after the team some of the team today go back to many years and have a lot of experience
